Av en händelse råkade en av mina japanska pennfajtare och tillika en stor skivsamlare få en länk till vår blogg. Döm av min förvåning när han mailar mig information om en ännu så länge outgiven skiva med allas vår Bobby Halifax! Tydligen har Bobby skickat en demo till en bekant till min japanske bekant. Det är minsann en liten värld!
Jag tipsade genast japanen om Bobbys "guest appearance" på Jord nu på söndag och han blev mycket sugen på att chartra ett plan med sina närmaste vänner och flyga hit! Helt otroligt! Jag lovade även honom att jag skulle be Bobby signera en Gillette rakskum, eftersom en sådan parant skäggväxt som Bobbys är mycket ovanlig i Japan har det redan bildats en liten kult där de tillbeder "The Gleat Bealded Genius" och rakar sig i hans ära två gånger i månaden.

Bobby’s note: My friend Hank Wibblerty (not the astronaut) was a fisherman in Halmstad at the time of the great Alaskan earthquake back in 1994. This song is a true account of Hank's harrowing adventure as he survived the largest earthquake to hit the North American continent in our recorded history and the tidal wave that followed it – simply by being in Halmstad, Sweden at the time.
